Costa Rica Photo Tour

I love a good photo tour especially one with so much PURA VIDA! The only phrase to live by in Costa Rica. Simply translated to “The Pure Life,” this country’s motto is everywhere. Pura Vida is used as a greeting, as a farewell, to answer a question, to ask a question, but most of all, as a declaration!

Enjoy this Costa Rica photo tour as it takes you through a long weekend full of PURA VIDA! Exciting adventures, tropical jungles, towering waterfalls and memorizing sunsets are around every corner. With all of that, how can you not live the good life in Costa Rica?

These littler buggers are all over the place. Cute at first but VERY curious and pesky little things. If you were wondering, YES they will take a pair of designer sunglasses off you patio table without remorse (my neighbor)

You won’t be able to see too much in a long weekend, but if that is all you have, it is just enough time to get a taste of all that Costa Rica has to offer. San Manuel Antonio area is a great location to explore if it is your first time in Costa Rica. I’ve also visited the Tamarindo area in a four day/5 night trip. Even though it is further, about a 4.5 hour drive or 35 min flight from SJO (San Jose Int. Airport) it is still doable.

One thing is for sure, if you are like me and love to explore independently, renting a car is a must. It is the most convenient way to get around, especially if you are not keen on staying in one place!

PURA VIDA!
