Neist Point Lighthouse, Isle of Skye

Scotland is one of those countries that I’ll never get tired of visiting year after year. It’s a stunning place for natural beauty, dramatic coastlines, towering castles, friendly locals, and quaint towns oozing with charm. I initially traveled to Scotland for a wedding but decided to turn it into my first solo road trip. This Scotland photo tour highlights some of my favorite things I saw and experienced over two weeks exploring the countryside and some of Scotland’s best cities. Stay tuned for an upcoming blog post “The Ultimate 2 weeks in Scotland Road Trip Itinerary”.

Despite some travel failures and a flat tire, Scotland is a country that is always at the top of my travel list. It is a great nation of easy-going, friendly people with loads to discover. Just don’t forget your raincoat!
