Sensational Scotland

Neist Point Lighthouse, Isle of Skye

Scotland Photo Tour

Scotland is everything I thought it was going to be, AND so much more! Initially traveling for a wedding, I decided to stay a while and turn it into my first solo road trip. This Scotland photo tour highlights some of my favorite things.

From castle hunting, and Harry Potter watching, rolling hills and winding roads, Fairy lands and dramatic coastlines, I couldn’t get enough. Even the driving was much easier than I thought it was going to be (I’m American and we drive on the “right” side of the road, in the UK it’s the left).

Even though I managed a flat tire, the entire experience was very memorable. On second thought, the flat tires makes it even more memorable. Stories from the road right?

Despite some travel fails, I wouldn’t hesitate to put Scotland back at the top of my travel list. It is a great nation of easy going friendly people ready to show you a great time. Just don’t forget your rain coat!
