Sedona is A desert town I have wanted to visit for years before I finally made it and have since been back twice. The red rock scenery is truly remarkable and even better from each trailhead I embarked on and scenic drives I took. If you are not into hiking there is still a slew of things to see and discover in Sedona.
Sedona is also a great base for a day trip to the Gand Canyon. As one of America’s most specular sites, you have to visit at least once in your lifetime. The south rim section (easily reached by a 2hr drive from Sedona) is considered to have the most beautiful views of the canyon.
This Sedona photo tour highlights some of my favorite views and hiking trails, but trust me, they are much better in person!
